  1. One of the most gutsy, honest, necessary, and timely speeches I've seen/heard in my lifetime. This is a president who is changing all the rules in regards to international diplomacy. Some call him apologetic, but I call him courageous and full of integrity. Not once did he cower and squabble at the admission (some for the first time ever by a U.S. president) of certain mistakes and serious damage made by the United States. His stance was the presentation of facts, owning up to them, recognition of their folly, and the introduction of a blueprint for substantial change in foreign relations. He also, I might add, actually sounded convincing about his pledge to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and for the first time by any U.S. president, used the term "Palestine." You've got chutzpah, kid!
